I'm just trying to raise awareness for people buying fake sd cards because they look legit, the only sd cards that will break from using h2testw on them are really really old ready to die sd cards, or fake crap quality sd cards, anyone suggesting that h2testw is the cause of them breaking is basically giving people who sell fakes a excuse to blame their crap cards failing on a tool that doesn't do anything except fill the sd card up once, if a sd card can't be written to once without breaking it's defective

It really boggles my mind how people like ''the guy'' from the previous page, cannot grasp the fact that fakes are usually well done for a reason.
These are not fakes like these ...
nkie.jpg

...but carefully faked items which have only one purpose, to scam the shit out of you.
These cards can look and normally DO look completely legit.
To the point when you get a fake one on Amazon.

And thank god for people like @gamesquest1 who raise awareness of people that are not that knowledgeable.
But you @CGNetwork come and stomp on that like its flowers in someone elses Animal Crossing town.

Here are the results of what I've tested on both cards with H2wtestw.

SanDisk Ultra 64GB Class 10 Micro SDXC Card's results (card is purchased from a powerseller from fucking eBay as of 5/26/16 -- literally over 7 months ago)
Warning: Only 60885 of 60886 MByte tested.
Test finished without errors.
You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.
Writing speed: 17.0 MByte/s
Reading speed: 38.3 MByte/s
H2testw v1.4

SanDisk Ultra 32GB Class 10 Micro SDHC Card's results (card is purchased from Amazon as of 1/5/17 -- over three weeks ago!)
Test finished without errors.
You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.
Writing speed: 11.9 MByte/s
Reading speed: 20.7 MByte/s
H2testw v1.4
(30424 MByte)

Remaining GB on both cards are used by the cache, just to let you know.

OMG you took such a risk, I bet you're so relieved they didn't blow up or become sentient and fly about and try to slowly slice your neck with their tiny sharp edges.

I needed a laugh. I think this (fake SD cards) should be a boss in that game/VN @B_E_P_I_S_M_A_N wanted to work on.
@FTWLetsPlay
I'm pretty sure you don't have A9LH if you can turn your 2DS on without your SD card inserted. So do everything you did before, on your new SD card.

@H1B1Esquire Fake SD Cards. That could be interesting.

Defintely, on so many levels. The character could need to get an SD card (plot point, vehicle to lead you to get X you must do X) to 'save' the 'world' to a humorous boss battle where you'd fight the merchant who sold you the card and the card itself to the hit points of the SD card being displayed incorrectly because it's fake (in GB with an impossible size.)

I'm sure just bathing in the glory of the temp for a month could give you three games.

I understand that a lot of people are on a tight budget and don't have a lot of spare cash. Also I know not everyone uses cfw to pirate but that being said look at it like this. So you just hacked your 3ds got free shop and downloaded a tone of games that cost anywhere from 20-40 dollars some less some more. So now that you are getting games free why not use the money that you would have used to buy games to buy a legit one from your local wal mart? Probably quicker than having Amazon or eBay to ship it to you too. But if you just seen the card online and was like thats a awesome deal I should get that SD cause it's so cheap. Ever heard the saying "you get what you pay for"? This is exactly the case.

@Infidel
In NYC, you will not find a Wal☆mart. You will find Rite-aid, CVS, and Duane-Reade selling 4GB SDcards and 2GB USB sticks for ~$20.00. You could fund a small militia for the cost of a 128GB micro SD card at these stores.

Even worse, walmart.com is ebay with a smilely face as far as inflated prices go. +$300.00 for a 3DSXL that Gamestop sells for $179.00?

There are deals to be had online and you can get lucky, but more people need to ask more questions of these sellers and get their word that if there is a problem, will they offer returns? Then, when the shit hits the fan, contact ebay so they can give the seller a negative rating, which will make future potential buyers cautious.

Wal mart where I live has 200GB SanDisk SDXC Ultra for $80 so maybe you should consider moving? You know there is a walmart.com too right?

Edit: SanDisk 64GB Ultra plus adapter $17.60 walmart.com

That's the best reason to move: Walmart. Regardless, the '.com' point I was making was that the resellers on their site charge ridiculously high prices for certain things. Totally glad your situation isn't like others. Go help those people.

I can't help people that don't try to help themselves, use the resources that you have in front of you. Don't cry when you take the cheap route and get a heap of shit instead of the SD card you were looking for. Also maybe go to a reputable company instead of some reseller sending you shit from his basement.

You can be mad at someone for being an ass, but not for being ignorant. They didn't know, so why not teach them? It seems unfair to say, 'I can judge you on something you didn't know about, but I won't help you learn.' Much like I'm teaching you now.

what even happened here lmoa
Super Mario Bros. the movie happened. It was mediocre.

There are plenty of legit SD cards on ebay. Just be sure to buy from a reputable seller. It's pretty silly to tell people to NEVER buy sd's from ebay.

I'd say never buy sd's that ship from China and be sure the seller is reputable. If something looks off it probably is.

Ignorance is not an excuse. That's like saying I just blew through a intersection going 120 but it's okay cause I'm illiterate and couldn't read the stop sign. And if you are to ignorant to figure out "look it's 200GB sd for $10 seems legit I should get it" then you deserve to get what they send you.

Your analogy is flawed logic. You would not have a license to begin with. Regardless, I'm sure the OP will go to Walmart just like you suggested.
