So I sent in my 3DS system to Nintendo for warranty because my L-button wasn't functioning properly. The next two days, they received it. Then the next day, they emailed me that my warranty was declined because they found "damages beyond normal wear and tear." Now, I have no idea what the heck they are talking about. The only thing that is broken is the L-button, and that should be a manufacturer's defect. Even so, my warranty was declined over something I am totally oblivious to. Heck, I even heard people got their systems replaced because their screens were being scratched by the bottom screen, and yet they declined my broken L-button 3DS. I have never spilled any type of liquids on it. I did use a Nyko+ battery extension before for it, but THAT can't possible make "damages beyond normal wear and tear", could it? Overall, the decline of the warranty towards my 3DS seems ridiculous to me. I plan to just disassemble the system myself and fix it, but I wanted to extend my warranty and get the system fixed at the same time. Now I can't even do that.
