Hacking Suggestion Multiplayer on banned switch

So I recently came across information saying switch games rely almost completely on P2P. So I'm interested in the possibility of Reverse Engineering this and making changes to the DNS that would point the switch to a server that mimics nintendo servers. If we could mimic the Nintendo servers to "authenticate" a hacked switch, maybe we can get the switch to connect with other unauthenticated systems.

I have a bit of programming experience I could use to help out, would just need someone with the magic touch when it comes to reverse engineering. Who's up for it?

have fun fending off nintendo's goon (Lawyer) squad but i would support the idea iirc xlink kai is beta testing for the switch they've expanded to multiple consoles so I'd keep an eye on Kai team see what develops

Yup, my discord is kibblerz.. Where did you find the information on matchmaking being NEX and amazon? Although I've been programming for awhile my issue with homebrew was always figuring how the behind the scenes works on these devices.

Would this really be something they can sue over? That'd be like if game developers sued hamachi and other vpn services for providing an alternative to online play. If it's true p2p than the only servers that would be needed would be for matchmaking... A simple declaimer should be able to keep away legal liability.

Secondly it’s all P2P under a custom websocket protocol. As for MatchMaking it’s all NEX and amazon servers heh
