Epic. Does it require a modchip to run Gamecube backups?
This is really useful for people who have Dual Layer discs, too.

What you going to do if it can't be done? say 6 months time passed are you still going to be hoping and waiting? best bet is a modchip, but unless your cheap or not bothered ether way stick to softies...

its called a solderless clip, yes... it sits on top of drive controller chip.

I'm still wondering how your going to shrink a Wii ISO to fit more than one on a disc!!

    Hey!

That's cool I was waiting for that too [IMG]

Wii games are final is worth to scrub. [IMG] [IMG]

Since now you can just scrub your games and burn them all on one disc.

    Awesome job! Amazing. [IMG]

i just hope my mod chip comes today so i can try this out with some gc games when it's released.
I'm getting to impatient though it still hasn't been 7 business days but it feels like it has!
oddly enough the 7th business day falls on the 7th day in this month.

So it loads ISO-Files from the disc? Wouldn't it be possible to load them from a SD-Card instead? Just a thought [IMG]

my guess is if that's indeed what this is and i think it is, yes both sd and usb would be possible but it wouldn't be as fast as the dvd drive.

Well, the backup launcher reads games only with half the speed of an original disc, and it still works flawlessy. I think loading from an SDHC card would be fast enough, wouldn't it?
