download the patch again and try again and yes the patch is just 1kb.
And give the patch a min to apply it. You are sure you use the right rom??

I didn't do that, of course XD
anyway I tried leaving it open for ten minutes straight after clicking on apply patch...nothing.
and I'm sure the rom is the clean one...as I said, it's the same rom 95girl gave you to make the patch itself!
anyway, thanks to Dark Held and his patience I got the pre-patched rom and I'm going to test it now, finally

i use french heartgold rom ^^ (1.19b solve the freez for german but not for french rom)

Well, because I have a G6DS Real I can't save, so I have to use the ARM7_FIX.

I have a question... If I use the ARM7_FIX, does the game code change to the Platinum one so the DS thinks I'm playing Platinum instead of SoulSilver? :S

Two hours with the Italian version of HG patched e no one crash. I use an EZ Flash Vi with internal firmware v14 end kernel RC14.

Hello,
I think I have the same problem than Tyrian : I tried to apply the patch with an US rom and with my French rom, but nothing happens. No new rom is created, and the one I tried to use still doesn't work...
I put all the files in the same directory, and I waited some minutes, as mentioned.
Any idea about what could I make wrong ?

But I think I missed something here : what are exactly the two links "HeartGold" and "SoulSilver" under the different language files ?

The Spanish patch are not the same for the two versions

you can try it...

put in the same folder
short name
put all files in desktop

and try
