Hello world.
The R4DS which I got in Hong Kong, but the english version is the one I got.
I love the R4, it does everything I need it to.
The device itself is a NDS Cart with a slot for a micro sd card.
As far as I know you can use up to a 2 gig chip in this because the original does not support the hc variety of card. That's a real shame cuz 2 gigs is not a lot of space.
Let's break it down.
A few things that I think the R4 is not complete without.
DSOrganize, a handy util for organizing your crap which is resting on the card.

- DSO can play music, write text docs, surf the web, irc, and a host of other things. Aside from file organization, it's kinda ass at everything else.
- Moonshell is really an awesome mp3 player, easy to store music, decent play back, but the feature that I like the most is the ease of browsing your music
- you can change the order by which games are displayed. I set mine up to show the most recently played game first.
- It also lets you store (i think) an unlimited amount of cheats, whereas R4 has a tendency to cut things off.
I usually have 2 different sd cards on me (well in this cool drawer which is built into my ds case)
1 card is for games, i have a lot of games, i like to game.
1 card is for music, i have a lot of music too.
The 2 gig limit is tricky though and can feel constraining.
In the end I'd rate the R4ds (authentic?)
That's 4 out of 5 boogers.
The more boogers, the better.
Love you all,
