Wow.. New menu and all that for the MT card launcher.dat. Just the option to go to the home menu and select a game. All the other options say "Coming soon".
Could you provide a bit more clarification? Multi-rom is the only "original" feature currently working?

It's currently the only feature at all. In the MT Card menu you're able to do two things. Go back to the 3DS' home menu and select a game. Everything else you can't select and says "Coming soon" under the icon. Attempting to use the select game with the GW3DS doesn't work as expected. Gives you a "Read Error" error.

Try to just copy/past a *.3DS file in the µSD.

Hmm. Yeah, I would expect there to be at least some incompatibility with the GW hardware. The "coming soon" stuff is definitely universal, though, and very off-putting.

Right from their user manual pdf:
The MT‐Card saves the game SAVE to the .sav file with the same name at the same time. It is necessary to pressing KEY HOME to backup the game SAVE, you can even pull out the MT‐Card after saved in the game, and you can backup the game SAVE by copying it to PC also.
So it still using card's SPI save chip and not writing saves directly to *.sav file.

Due to the design defect of the previous 3DS card with hardware architecture, too much inconvenient problems are coming out. In order to solve these problems, we will take the user experience as the most important thing at the beginning of our research period, so we will do our best to create a brand-new and innovative product based on the flexible hardware architecture and the safe、stable upgrade.

Maybe it is the Gateway-Team they're talking about. Do you think the MT-Card belongs to them?

Hummm.. Every time the game save directly.
No need to go on the "home" menu.
Can you try following:

1) Delete saves and launch first game, save game
2) Remove MT-card from slot while in game without pressing HOME and exit to main menu
3) Launch different second game, save different game and exit using HOME button
4) Launch first game again and check if save ok

It will make clear for sure if card saving directly to *.sav file.

I am. I publish my review here when it's done :)

When you do can you make sure to include the card actually loading up one of the "problem" ROMs in the video? I've seen them switch those (like Pokemon) but not actually load them up. Just wanna make sure :)
