The only reason I can see to buy MT-card over gateway would be the convenience of the button rom switcher doohicky, and perhaps the price, if it shows up to be cheaper.
Reason to buy Gateway is they have seemed to show video, and results of their work. They have built a trust with their product, something MT-Card lacks at this point.

I'm really interested to see what kind of tools they can develop for the USB cable. Maybe it'll be even more powerful than gateways FPGA programbility.

Hi,

I'm one of the beta tester for MT-Card.

Currently, i'm waiting all files to make a review.

I keep you in touch.

Is the built in CPU they talk about similar to DSTwos functionality? Or too early to say?

Inside the blister just for the pic ;)
And, you can lauch the menu even if you don't have the card inside the 3DS.
It should Gateway does aswell, its the launcher that has the menu, seems they had Animal crossing loading but not saving correctly and not reloading if you had saved, but could be some legit competition, you think to spread the word they would send out more than 5 review units

I don't know, it could be simply marketing: http://www.differencebetween.net/te...y/difference-between-fpga-and-microprocessor/

Because saying "in built CPU" sounds like it could be faster or "it has more ram" for some.

Technically most flash carts already have an in-built CPU. They're kind of needed to process all the read/write commands sent to the cartridge and to interface them with files in the SD card. So this isn't anything new. Pretty much any flash cartridge with an SD card has a CPU/microcontroller of some sort.

Well, I hope you could make a translation of your review for us. Personally I'm interested in how Animal Crossing is handled since they earlier said that this game wasn't working well, and also that save editor feature, we know nothing about it.

I could translate it if needed, since my english is halfway decent.

Well they released their files (you can check the download section for it). MT-Card Uses the same Gateway installation screen though.

Wow.. New menu and all that for the MT card launcher.dat. Just the option to go to the home menu and select a game. All the other options say "Coming soon".
