Homebrew MPlayer Christmas Edition + MP3+G Player 0.92(Karaoke)

Anyways, DJ have you tried the MP3+G Player? or you not into kareoke, just DJ-ing?

Nor not into Karaoke lol, i was going to try it, but couldn't be bothered, not really into it*

Ok, I've done some testing today with USB and Data-DVD...(basicly watching LOST season 5 and listening music

). Well Data-DVD works now awesome!!! It's realy impressive to watch in such a High quality and Speed...realy awesome!!! Love it

List what is needed to do/Wishes:

-Display Filename correct (Bsp: Shows RIHANNA_.MP3 instead Rihanna - Rehab.mp3)
-Better Controlling for Mp3 (-->Special Menu?)
-USB (Nope...worked once, and now it won't work again...sad

)
-Browsing in the DVD/Folders (if possible...)
-DVD keeps spinning if in drive....DISABLE START UP MOUNT
-Aspect ratio more in menu video options
-More stream paths, like to other IP's
-Auto Chain Detection, instead of return or restart...
-Wii Light to flash on each mount, and blinks in the beat of the Sound/Audio
-Skinning
-Support for other streams than .pls
-Distinguish between audio files, video files and other files. (If you select an audio file it will play continuously through the folder. Press B to play next file.)
-If file has 2.35:1 ratio, to fit the screen, press 1. If your file has a 4:3 ratio and you want to stretch it to fit the screen, press 2. To return to default press 1 and 2 together.
-Image Support

And then we should have the Perfect Player

. Mhm..looks like much work...hope Team Twiizers won't release a better one..(they pointed something out...DVD can make an surprising reaapereance...). All we need now is that the developers of MPlayer and MPlayerWii will work together...maybe even with the Geexbox Team, DragonMinded and Team Twiizers? Come on...get together!!! One perfect Player is better than 5 buggy Players!!!

My Opinion: Basicly the Player is still buggy, especially the USB, which is sad, the part that I need the most...but it's coming out great!!! I've deleted all Players, except this one and GeeXBox. I LOVE IT

agree with you their bluek, also i haven't tested USB, as i don't really need to use USB drives on my wii, i have other things for that

Them TODO's looks fairly easy to implement, so can't wait till source is upped

some problems with mplayer ce - i tried watching a movie through samba shares - i've gotten it to work plenty of times..

but now i tried it with once specific movie and i get binary code dump within the first few seconds.

played 2 divx's successfully through samba and wifi

3rd divx movie is giving me dump errors.

any ideas?

exactly.....it's a bad thing in this player, the actual source for this player, looks like it wont be able to have more than 1 share...

But don't worry, SMB, USB etc and aspect ratio will be fixed

IS making a comeback with many improvements/sources aswell..STAY TUNED!

Iv'e looked through BlueK's TODO list, and let me say that some are fixed, the really BIG ONES!
the more advanced todo's are still in the pipes "eventually"

Should be released very soon
