Sxos folder IS accessible natively using tinfoil no PC or phone
Use File browser>Sdmc/sxos
You can even copy and paste.

I just did it.

You can also access it with tinfoil on a PC or Phone in MTP with a USB cable as well.

Just did it.

MTP allows NSP installs. Just drop in the install folder.

You can access the ENTIRE SD in Hekate in UMS too using a USB cable.

You can update the cheats file using the all-in-one updater. Or a variety of other Homebrew methods.

Old unsupported depreciated version

I think you're making this a little bit harder than it needs to be.

You do not need an internet connection for MTP. Period. I'm in airplane mode

Heres a payload program that works

Choose your destiny,

As far as using your phone that will depend on your phone. There is your weakest link.

are you use newest tinfoil homebrew?

Always use the newest. But it worked in 2020 as well. It DOES access the folder.

File browser > Sdmc

A little Common Sense goes a long way. Everything should always be updated as far as it can be. You're stuck on 11.0 if you want to use SX OS. Other than that update your stuff dude

You're looking for other applications but are not willing to update the one you have. Makes no sense.

Finally I understand now

The Team sx blocked user use switch access their system folder

If your emunand set under sx os you can't browse this " sx os " folder by any homebrew

I still not yet try rename the "sx os" under sx os cfw

I bet it blocked or when you rename the folder it will cause cfw system crash.

That's why you can use other cfw like ams browse sx os folder

Sucks. Anyway I can work around all the issues by take out SD card from switch.

You are wrong. They MAY have in the past, I don't know, but if you are up to date my way works in atmosphere or in SXOS.

IT WORKS.

UPDATE YOUR SOFTWARE. How could ANYONE know whats going on with random versions? Ridiculous. you can use the all in one updater to update everything,

You are either screwing with me or somethings wrong with you,

Well. I was genuinely trying to help you out. Nevermind. You either got it or you never will. You can try sayIng this out loud 3 times to fix it.

"I. M. sofa king we taught it"
Don't worry this guy is doing the same stuff in the tinwoo thread. I even told them that cheats don't go in the emutendo folder (since they have it in their head that it goes root/emutendo/sxos)

so either this dude won't listen, too thick in the head to understand (even if English isn't their first language) or just straight trolling.

They refuse to use a pc (not sure why)

Gave them the option to install games via usb with ns-usbloader mobile (didn't work for them, didn't give a reason why)

Im not worried. Lol. You're right. Either a total dullard or a troll. At any rate i wanted a real solution for any real people who search in the future. Tinfoil does it all without a PC. That's all.

I'm a first wave paid sxos user. I know what I'm talking about. It works. I use it regularly for years now. You're a troll or on the spectrum.

Notify our media.

If you for real... WRONG! DO IT AGAIN! HOW CAN YOU HAVE USB IF YOU DONT USE PC!

if you got that reference you're not so bad.

I just FTP everything.
Bad idea IMO. If FTP crashes for some reason (lots of files, huge files, or network issues that can make it crash) you can sometimes lose entire directories. I'd know. I lost my entire Retroarch folder when I was updating it a couple months ago. Lost a ton of saves :(

Never had an issue with FTP on OG Xbox, PS3, or Vita, but on 3DS and Switch it's just unstable enough to monumentally screw things up.

I just use USB Storage via Hekate now.

Have you tried using Hekate's MTP service?

It has UMS. Pretty much the same thing. Tinfoils MTP is faster and has a lot of qol improvements. You can install and dump nsp files. Access the SD and dump the firmware all with drag n drop operations. No drivers. No fuss. Works well.
Could you tell me the difference about these file? Sir?

My thread
https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-bypass-sdk-firmware-require-use-old-sx-os-cfw.602655/

I use nsc_builder didn't find any difference about them
These file seems all patched to 9.0.0 low firmware
So they should boot fine with old sx os

[LINKS REMOVED]

For first one I can use sx os 10.2.0 boot success

For 2nd and 3rd the system tell me can't boot return home press "a"

How? Could you help me rebuild it?!

How..how does your FTP crash

I’ve exclusively use FTP and have uploaded theousands of files at once(unpacked game assets) and have never once crashed or even froze

First off, dont link warez
Secondly, games can only be patched so far back. Example, a game that requires 13.0 can't be patched for 9.0 because there's stuff that the game requires as a bare minimum to run. Generally, games can be patched 1 - 2 firmwares below what they require
