Emulation Mother 3

I'm using R4 and an EZ 3-in-1 Flash. I'm running an English-patched Mother 3 ROM which was SRAM Patched using GBATA. I run the game through GBA EXPloader, NOR menu. Whenever I press X "Run game in NOR", it freezes at the "Game Boy" screen. What am I doing wrong? What SHOULD I do?

depending on where you got your copy, you might have to trim the rom.

sometimes you have to SRAM patch it twice.

GBATA won't let me trim and it doesn't let me patch the ROM twice, but I managed to put the ROM on the NOR of EZ 3-in-1. It still doesn't work, though, stuck on the Game Boy screen.

After it freezed on the Gameboy screen,turn it off.

Then select play GBA game on the DS's main menu

adding the sram patch probably put it over 32MB. the translation patch was carefully coded to keep the game at exactly 32mb so it would run on hardware. either that or you need to add a valid header to the rom.

check both, you never know.

You could try running it through BatchGBA.
