Hacking Mother 3 Ez flash 3 in 1 problems with r4ds

Im just wondering has anyone else experienced any problems witht he patched version of mother 3 yet with ez flash 3 in 1

I can't get it to save for some reason. It works fine in vba but it won't keep any saves for me on my ds. It keeps the saves while I'll play, but when I turn off the ds, I only have the new game option. patched the save type (v131) and everything.
