wow looks great really improved graphics and it actually shows the monsters in the world map instead of them popping out of nowhere
but why did they skip to nine
they just made five
also looks like when you customize your character it actually shows the armor and weapons if im not mistaken

IV and V were remakes, VI will be coming soon. VIII came out on PS2 a few years ago, this is the next game in the main series to be released. And the battles have always been random, even in VIII. IX might be the first of the (main) DQ games to feature enemies on the world map.

What does it matter? The game isn't slated until mid to late this year, which means we probably won't even see it until sometime next year, since these jap companies insist on holding to their antiquated business model of regions.

well I'm hoping for it to come out as fast as star ocean 4 came out in English almost the same time as the Japanese one
i don't know why when it comes to DQ, SE takes a long time to release it in English

the game would've been out by now if they didn't delay it cause of some bugs so I'm just hoping that SE would act smart and consider releasing it ASAP in English
