Hacking Moonshell Alternative ?

I have started to watch some movies on my DS and I was wondering if there was some alternative to Moonshell. I don't find it too responsive (either from the EZV menu or by lauching MS 1.71).
Playback is great, but I would like it to remember where I was before I close the movie.

Any alternative to reading DPG (DSVideo just does not cope it with 15fps) ?

DSVideo is 12.5 fps (not 15) last time I checked. No other video player for the DS gets above 12 fps, and none save your position in the file.
