Hacking Monster Hunter 3U app

If this isnt the correct section to post, sorry and please move the thread.

So 3ds version can only connect to online play through a wiiU app and wiiU lan adapter.

Ive seen posts of maybe creating an application so you can connect through PC. Ive hear this was done on the psp version (that could go online through ps3).

How likely is this to happen? Can anyone direct me to somewhere i can find info?

XlinkKai? sorry but it'll probably never happen on the DS or 3DS only way is to buy WiiU.
