Guild has a point. Graphics-wise, i say PSP is better in many factors. Lets just say the psp was released in 2004 and the Wii in 2006. That 2 year difference could decide the power of a system, whether a handheld or console. the PSP being able to produce almost the same quality as a Wii game, makes the PSP more powerful, if it were released at the same date/year (with technology availability and all)..

PLUS, the Wii is a HOME CONSOLE, which needs a TV as output. it's a big ass, full of cables, piece of brick! The PSP is a small penis sized HANDHELD! 2004? 2006? Home console? Handheld? THINK GUYS!

(3DS has better quality than Wii btw)

That's my debate for GRAPHICS. Now for gameplay and control scheme, it's a different story and it will depend on the developers how to configure the game to the system.

But what can we do? It's not the vision of Nintendo(or capcom for that matter).
No need to fight over a rumor that is said to be "DEFINITELY EXISTENT". Has capcom talked about this yet? No.
What the heck?
QUOTE(altorn @ Apr 3 2011, 08:23 PM) Graphics? Nintendo doesn't care about NGP/PS3 level graphics. Neither should you. Pitfall had steamy shit graphics, but it was fun. Super Mario Bros. had squares for noses but it became one of the best games evar.
What, did you change your mind or are you just contradicting yourself?

And there you go again...talking about things you don't know about. You haven't played this "upcoming" Final Fantasy type 0 have you?

If you've seen any screenies of it you can tell it looks good, and those aren't even final versions.

QUOTEAt the end of the day, Capcom knows they'd make a lot more money on the 3DS version (now that a Nintendo handheld can handle it) if they decided they could choose only one platform.

Except that's absolutely false considering how well Monster Hunter sells on the PSP.

Yeah, Wii owners didn't exactly flock to "Tri", either.

What? Contradicting?
Read carefully man.

I'm merely stating my opinion that PSP has better graphics than Wii, release date wise. The power of the PSP. Not that i like it that im contradicting my statements here. Im actually
backing my point that nintendo doesn't care about graphics, the Wii being 1 proof.

I favored Pitfall and Mario despite having bad graphics and still playing well.
Did i favor PSP's gameplay? No.

EDIT:
I liked the adventure of MH in PS2 and PSP but yes the camera switching irritates me, especially
when dodging quick monsters and trying to retaliate.

You guys want a super realistic looking game? Play "life". About as real as you could get. With all the perfect texture, lighting, and everything.

for me, it seriously doesn't matter what the graphics look like. I could play an 8bit Monster Hunter if someone made one. Its the gameplay that will keep you hooked that matters anyway.

First you stated Nintendo didn't care about graphics and then you made a whole other post completely about graphics. I smell a contradiction, and it has nothing to do with which system you favor graphically (as you stated at the end of your post).

You know, this discussion isn't going and will not go anywhere.
Guild's army likes pretty graphics and dual analogs.
Vamp's army likes touch-screen controls and 3D effects.

Whatever you say, if this speculations are true (what is very likely), there will be a Monster Hunter game on the 3DS and you can't do anything about it. Plus there will most likely be one on the NGP too so, why are you whining?
Everyone should have a chance to play a game. And buying a system for one game is not worth it.

Small, penis sized or small penis sized?
Whichever it is, you know some very big penises. Specially if it's "small penis" sized.

You press a button to open your bag. If everything was already laid out on the touchscreen you're bag would be open already. If you had to tap on the touchscreen to open the bag and then choose an item, it would probably have taken more time than it would have to just press the buttons.
I think would take about the same time.

QUOTE(altorn @ Apr 3 2011, 07:40 PM) (3DS has better quality than Wii btw)
Because 3DS has somethings wii doesn't have I believe and is on a smaller screen.

I was just using the wii to compare.

Yes i stated Nintendo didnt care about graphics. But i never stated i liked graphics on any system. Did i?
What's contradictory about that?

Nintendo dont care about good graphics and neither should you = Wii.
PSP graphics > Wii. (comparing Wii with PSP which i admit PSP has good graphics for its time but i didnt say I liked ANY of the said systems. DID I? Please tell me)

And im in a "NINTENDO FORUM" (3DS). C'mon

Except that's not absolutely false because there wasn't another handheld system that could handle MH...So from business standpoint, if two handhelds can handle the same game, which handheld would you develop the game for? Easy, the one most people own. Machomuu...you've just answered this too. The one that costs less to develop on.

But what I'm saying about your arguments is that you bring up examples even though you haven't played/used them to know how they actually look/feel.

I don't. Honestly, I don't give a crap about graphics in any case. That said, it is nice that the 3DS really upped the ante on the graphics compared to the DS.

Uh...I never said I cared about graphics. Also, I never said you anything about you favoring any system or its graphics, I don't know where you're getting that from, because you've stated it in two posts.

1st - NGP WILL have a portable 3rd port, so, go play that (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scD0gsGDxcU).

2nd - if any of you saw SSF43D or Mercenaries 3d, you know that the 3ds is more powerful than the Wii, the graphics on Tri are fine by me, if ported to 3DS.

3rd - 3D can help MonHun gameplay, how many of you misjudged a blow, specially underwater because of depth perception?

4th - Using the touchscreen as a second analog is not perfect, however, it may use the same time as moving your finger from the buttons to recenter the camera on CCPro

5th - Who are we kidding, MonHun will sell well onboththe NGP and the 3DS
