this game is not working for me

tried various different methods of trying to get it to work on my pal 4.2E Wii using CFG Loader and USB Loader GX and neither work.

CFG Loader:- when I try to load it from 223 it just hangs on the booting Wii game screen same happens with 222

USB Loader GX:- using either 222 or 223 it sends me back to the Wii Menu whenever I try to boot the game

and on both loading from 249 get's you as far as the main menu when you start the game it chokes

try using Wiiflow it worked on 249 for me

Anyone tried a PAL Wii on the US servers yet?

Just finished my second quest online with a team of four people on a PAL Wii. No problems so far. Oh, and I'm using the CFG Loader.
My first impression: More people need Wii Speak

And its fun, of course.

Hmmm.. Online works off USB? I might use that instead of my legit disc then. Do I need to use cfgloader or could I use USBLoaderGX?

I just did my frist quest and am LOVING it. I have wii speak but am far too shy to turn it on :S.

Everything is very similar to pso except the fact that there's no large lobbys for people to just chat in.

Well you can chat in the main city, before you enter a 4 player room. Just cant see the ppl you are talking to. I was just sitting and chatting when the servers first came up.

finally got this thing working enjoying the opening cutscene now with no glitches or lag e.t.c.

I'm finally HR2. By the way, for all of you having trouble to add friends, this is the way you add friends. Face them, press A, go on one of the pages(or just continue pressing A on each page) then you will have a page full of boxes and in one of the boxes will have "no" written in one of them and you will have to switch that to yes, write something in the box at the bottom(anything) then send it to them and you will hear a confirmation if the person added you.

I am using a Logitech usb keyboard and it works fine.

edit: nm just got it to load fine with gecko and the game disc just like I ran the japanese version

When try to do anything that loads or access the 222/223 ios the blue light comes on and the wii hangs. now, say if i use cUSB Loader, which requires 249 and I set it to load the game with 223-mload (or 222) the same things happens. I've tried all the other suggestions like VIDTV off, 002 on, language = Jap / force NTSC.. But something tells me the root of the problem is with the IOS, I did the network install, everything seemed to have worked. I've always used 249 in the past and never had problems.


My wii is US with 4.2

Any one else encounter this problem?

I believe seeing as you have the 4.2U then you might need IOS 250. Check around Hezkore confirmed IOS 249 Rev 19 with base 37. I have 37 merged with 38 but just reads it as 38 so that method doesnt work for me. Edit: I used the cIOSX_rev19-Installer.zip that I found through google. When loading through homebrew select IOS 249 then for the base IOS choose 37. I have tried this and Hezkore is correct. I too now have confirmed that 249 rev 19 on base 37 will load your Monster Hunter Tri (3). Definitely try this method. :End Edit. I would try to help but I have 4.1U with IOS 202,222,223,224,249 & 250. Did you try Configurable loader v56? If not try that with Jap lang, force ntsc, and 222 or 223 mload. GBATemp Thread: there is no vulnerable IOS installed on this wii, Hi I definitely think all the info you need is right here and you should have no problem playing any backup game off a USB Loader. I recommend Configurable Loader Version 56. Which you can get here Configurable Loader v56 Good Luck.

EDIT:I would like you all to know that if you have channels created through the wbfs manager they will no longer work if you install IOS249 Rev 19 base 37. You will also find out that some of those wads you have been saving will no longer install. If you did this you can re-install 249 rev 19 with base 57 for the WADs & Channels to work again. I will look into getting the wads & channels to work with the base 37 but i think i am wasting my time as i had this working fine with IOS223 with hermes v4 and others got it working on IOS222 hermes v4. It depends on what your base is??? If you have merged 37 and 38 or have base 38 this method should work for you on 4.1u systems.
