does the profile is linked to the game server and updated automatically while playing ?

I tried sending a message to ask for friendship, but it said "not online", so I guess there's no message server on capcom's side. We will have to be online all at the same time.

I put my FC and time info on my signature.
Should we make a topic with friend code, with updated first post ? or maybe a wikiTemp page (like on wikia) with forum name/hunter name/ID/Region/USB keyboard/wiichat/rank/etc. ?


I won't be playing often, but it could be useful to other members.

a thread would be a waste cause we'd have to be online around the same time, so it would get spammed with meeting times/places, the Wiki page however "could" work have a list of US members and a list of EU members with

Which could work out nicely, then it's just a simple matter of CTRL+F and searching for the temper

btw for those of you interested in playing I now have the EU version and I will be setting that up later on (converting my save e.t.c.)

I would left my Wii on so people could send me messages but I noticed yesterday that you get d/ced for inactivity.

Wish you luck with the online part DarkWay, since you kinda have a US ID hope it doesn't screw in the EU version like, overlapping an already existing one in the US server... unless you get a new one. No idea how that will work.

I havent played in quite a bit just killed bird things now i am trying to get his full armour...after i get it i am racing trhough the game so that i can upgrade to get icicle spear and bone tomohak (if thats how you spell it) i cant really use anything other than sword and shields

hehe I managed to convert my save from NTSC to PAL hopefully it will let me online

bonus I get to keep my character but I have to start online again

but its all funa nd games I don't mind so who wants to play?

EDIT:- sorry forgot instructions:-

1. You need your US Save and a PAL Save on your Wii
2. Launch the SaveGameManagerGX in HBC and extract both Savegames.
3. On your SD Card should be a folder called "Saves" (or something similar).
In there are two folders called "00010000524d4850" (PAL Save) and "00010000524d4845" (US Save).
Copy over the DATAXX files (XX = 00 to 05) from "0010000524d4845\NOCOPY" to "0010000524d4850\NOCOPY".
4. Install the PAL Savegame with Savegame Installer.
5. Play the game.

sorry my guides based on what I did but you should still have the correct folser for the PAL version so copy from the J version to the PAL version.

We then chased 4 great jaggi, with 2 more players but we lose

Yeah I don't know how we lost O.o I know you died, and then I died after being charged like 4 tims in a row >.> (I hate it when that happens, Barroth is a bastard for doing that) and Qurupeco is alright. We went to do the 4 Great Jaggi quest last night and we killed the Qurupeco aswell for the hell of it

was great fun.

After you left I went after some resources, namely the Flame Sac, which I believe I can get from Rathian but it won't give me any

That's supposed to increase the chance of getting rewards at the end of quests (I think...)
I haven't played it at all today been busy with other things

Can someone tell me how to get the barroth urgent to show up? I'm HR 8 and need 1 more point for 9 but it says unelligible for rank up. I know I have to beat the barroth but I can't pick it. Do you have to beat all the 1* quests or something?

Monster Hunter Wiki

Check this list to see if you've completed the necessary quests to get the urgent quest. You have to complete all quests which have the Key Quest pic standing at the left, the rest don't count towards unlocking the urgent quest.
