Sorry, I wasn't very specific... :S When I said, that I try to launch "wads", I meant I tried to launch WiiWare/VC games, that I installed via the MMM.

Fix94: the games aren't from a different region.

And Priiloader is already installed, thanks!

My only problem is that I cannot play WW/VC games from the Wii System Menu and the SD Card menu.

Edit: XFlak: Thanks! XD

AH, I HAVE IT! IOS70 seems to be patched wrong. Download Dop-Mii, start it via homebrew channel, select IOS36 to install other IOSes, go to IOS, MIOS, BC, select IOS70 in the list, press plus, answer ALL four questions with YES, and download from NUS. After this the channels should work

Or, if you already have the 42mod pack, you could just install the ios70 in it

Okay, I will try it now! But the answer for the last question is:
"This channel can't be used."

This only comes if the wad is not your wad, the title is not in the wii, or the system IOS is not patched, so it could that it's fixed if you install the problematic wads with IOS236 again, delete the channels on the sd card and move the new installed on.

That might fix it... Will you try that, then run another syscheck and post for me? I may have missed the ES patch (but I swore I had it in there)...

Errr........ I used Bomberman '93 for the testing, but now I tried Wild West Guns, and now it works... I don't know what happened, but I will test WiiFlow and other things now, and uninstall Bomberman forever. xD

Thanks EVERYONE, you are the best community ever!!!! I

Glad you got it figured out!

Turns out syscheck won't report ios70 as es patched no matter what, even when I made sure it was with dop mii...

Everything works! Thank you very much for your help!

My only problem is, that it's almost 2 AM... I live in Hungary... I won't sleep much. XD
But I restored all the saves, channels and Miis. XD

Hi

My cousin has a Wii that has a Hardmod and he wants to Softmod is as well. He is unable to play newer games b/c they ask for updates and believes Softmodding will solve the problem.

I was wondering what would be the best way for him to proceed.

It's a Wii 3.4U. Has no idea what modchip he has. He had it done for him at a store.

Older Wii. He bought it when the Wii was first released. I'll get the Serial Number if you need it.

Thanks
