Thank you for the great help,I really appreciate your support on this Issue.:)

Now I see a little clearer,thank you.:yay:

Did you set/enabled in the Priiloader --> System Menu Hacks :

- Region Free EVERTHING
- Region Free GC Games (No VM Patch)
- Region Free Wii Games

I hope this is it.:D
Those 3 things have been enabled since I modded my Wii.

Hello.:)

Ok,that is good.Checked.:)

When you starting your PAL Gamecube Games on your Wi System Disc Channel you mean the

original Wii Disc Channel for Wii/Gamecube Games
index.jpg

or

the installed Nintendont Forwarder Channel

Thank you.:)

I mean the original Wii Disc Channel for Wii/Gamecube Games.
I guess using the Nintendont forwarder Channel would yield the same results as launching the games from USB-Loader GX using Nintendont.

Yes,absolutely right.:)

I am sorry,I do not have any Idea now....
If NONE of your PAL Gamecube Games would work,ok.But with the few they had Sound but no Video...:(

Did you have connected your Wii with an Component or AV Cable or HDMi Adaptor ?
How is your TV Setting in the Wii Systemsettings please ?

P1060422.JPG

Maybe a setting on your TV ?
Sorry, but I can not think of anything more.:(

Thank you.:)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

And you have the latest Wii System Version 4.3U and/or latest IOS58 (rev 6176) and the latest clean MIOS v10 installed ?:)

My Wii is connected via component cables (not composite). The video settings are 480p and 16:9. Keep in mind that I region changed my Wii from PAL to NTSC. So no 50Hz option here.
My System Menu is 4.1, but as I read before the only thing Nintendo changed in the last few revisions was anti-homebrew.

As for IOS 58: I have rev 6176 installed, according to sysCheck. So I guess I installed it when I modded my Wii. Or the only reason my System Menu is on 4.1 is that I installed the NTSC System Menu.

clean MIOS v10: I have no clue. SysCheck reported "MIOS v65535"

EDIT: My TV is the one component that is most likely not the culprit. It is one of the best models for gaming ;-)

Nice guess. =)
Too bad it was not the root of the problem :-( Those problematic GC games still won't launch from the System Menu Disc Channel.

I installed the RVL-MIOSv10.wad using WAD manager, which I had extracted from Epic Mickey 2 using WiiXplorer as Cyan suggested here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/miospatcher-and-mios-v10.184354/#post-4634699.

How did you change the region on your Wii please ?? :)
That "No Video" and "No Gamecube Game starts" makes me think of an issue with that.Maybe.

Thank you.:)

I thought that my Wii being NTSC might be the cause, but since some games work and some don't, I doubt that this is the reason. I would rather suspect it to be the culprit if only the working games offered the 60Hz mode. E.g., Mariokart has a 60Hz mode.

I followed the "softmod any wii" guide on Wiihacks (RIP) to change my Wii's region. I still have an offline copy of the guide if you want to see into it. The particular section reads:

wiihacks said:
Part 2- Optional Region Change
If you are changing the region of your wii, do this now

Wii Region Change
You will be changing to the region you installed above.
You can change to any region you like, even Korean.
Warning failure to complete this step could result in a semi brick, which could be unrecoverable- especially for KOREAN Wiis changing to another region. Make sure you do don't restart the Wii until the softmod is complete.
This is most common when changing Korean/Japan wiis to USA
DO NOT RESTART THE WII UNTIL THIS PROCESS IS COMPLETE

Wii Shop Users-
If you use the Wii Shop channel, you must go into the wii shop and delete your account before starting chapter 2 of this guide. If you don't the wii shop will error.

Supported TV display-This is important
Ensure that your tv supports the display of the region you are changing to. If your TV does not support PAL, don't region change to PAL. Same goes for NTSC. If your TV does not support your selected display, you won't be able to see the wii screen anymore.

From the HBC-
Launch ARCmod06_Offline
Select IOS236 - press A
Read the WARNING- press 1
You will see this error at the top screen "WARNING: AREA: SysMenu MISMATCH!"
This means your semi-bricked- which we are going to fix.
Use the wiimote, go down to-"system menu 4.1 installer"
Select "System Menu Region"
Change the region to USA (or Europe or Jap or KOREAN)
Go down to "Auto set from System Menu Region" -Press A
"WARNING: AREA: SysMenu MISMATCH!" error will go away,
make sure it goes away
Do not install system menu 4.1
Verify that your settings are correct
Exit to the Homebrew Channel(do not restart)
HBC will loads

Hello.:)

Thank you.
Why is this little important Information not revealed earlier to us ? :)

Sorry,I have no Idea or Experience with the ARCmod06.:(
Unfortunately nor what, how much or which Wii´s System IOSes does it changes on your Wii.
The only thing,it is a little outdated.

Maybe you can use @XFlak´s ModMii and its Region Change Guide. But I am not sure, this helps on your Wii now.
Because maybe a few System IOSes are now changed to maybe "unknown" or older versions.
I even do not know if an Update with ModMii helps tto get your Softmod in the right place.
For such suggestions I just do not know enough about this ARCmod, sorry.:(

Can you maybe revert this Region Change Mod ?
Or would you please so kind and post a sysCheck for us ?

Thank you for your assistance and help.:)

I said this in my first post on this topic. Sorry I did not make that more clear.
I had the same issue: some of my PAL Gamecube games did not work on my Wii (region changed from PAL to NTSC).

Can you maybe revert this Region Change Mod ?
I'm afraid... I'm afraid I can't do that.
Or would you please so kind and post a sysCheck for us ?

I ran SysCheck again. See attached file.

Thank you for your sysCheck.:)

Ok,here are a little "things":

- Your Homebrew Channel is Homebrew Channel 1.1.0 -> Recommended: Please Update to 1.1.2
- A few of your IOSes are outdated, unkown or missing Versions as expected.:(
But that has of course to do with your Wii System Version 4.1

And that is what makes it for me difficult to say - make an update on 4.3 or try ModMii to get your Wii Softmod to the most recent state.:(
I really can not say what happens.

But you have an Option to try the Softmod Update:

If you have BootMii installed (would be optimal as an IOS) you can make an NAND Backup and after then you can make the Softmod Update with ModMii.
If something is not as expected, you can recover your Wii to the State BEFORE the Softmod Update.

Please: be absolut sure you have anytime still Acesss to BootMii and Priiloader. If not and something goes wrong it is near impossible to recover your Wii.

It maybe bricks your Wii and makes it unusable !!!

If you update your Homebrew Channel you can also rectify the BootMii Installation as an IOS (if this is possible,it depends on your Wii Revision).
https://bootmii.org/install/

Again: I really can not say, what happens because I have no Experience with the ARCmod06.
If you are unsure, please leave it as it be.:)

You know now
why you Gamecube Games not running in the Wii Disc Channel.
That is a success I think.:)

Thank you.:)

Reading through the (short) changelog of the last 2 homebrew channel updates, I assume I can do without updating it. All my homebrew runs perfectly fine with my current system.

I could update / replace the CIOSs as you mentioned. I have the WAD packs from the Softmodding guide I used earlier this year to softmod my friend's Wii. Additionally, my Wii has good brick protection, as BootMii is installed as an IOS.
But as long as my GC games run fine using Nintendont, I will postpone that process.
Thank you.:)
No, Thank You for investing so much time into helping me out. =)

BootMii as IOS sadly provides zero brick protection because it requires a working system to have a means of launching it.
