Did you use the last NSMBe revision for the 3D textures in the end?
I hope you have, since I fixed many issues with transparency since then.

Also, it'd be nice if you credited the actual actors instead of the project name. Some links would be useful too

Looks nice^^ Just one question: With which program have you replaced the texture file? I dunno why but I think Nitro Explorer is a bit buggy when replacing... ^^

To write the carc back to the rom, I use narctool at the moment.(It's included in my MKDS Course Modifier) I have only my own code for reading narc / carc files.

And I have a extracted rom of mkds on my computer. I repack the nds file with ndstool.
 
New version(1.7):

- Fix transparency glitches by viewing texture type 5
- Help function (not completed)
- WAV -> STRM Function
 
Thank you a lot! Just yesterday I was looking for tools for STRM editing. I hope those converted STRM are acceptable by any NDS game and not just by MK.

I didn't tested it in mkds (mkds don't use them) but when I open the created files in my program it sounds good.

If i not wrong, Gericom say in other forum "In mkds aren't bin files. But in nsmb and sm64ds are them. My program isn't just for mkds but for as many games as possible. "

Yes, thats the answer!

My editor is named 'MKDS Course Modifier' because I started with the idea to make an editor for mkds. But now you can use it for many games.
 
I'm using MKDS Course modifier to hack texture in Ace Attorney Miles Edgeworth.

I have one little request.
MKDS modifier allows textures extraction (*.nsbtx) from nsbmd files. I wish I could import nsbtx files to nsbmd.
Do you plan to add this feature ?

I think that it will be possible.
And the next version features a bncl editor. (layout of menus)
 
A new version of my mkds course modifier:
BNCL and BNBL Viewing.
Wav -> SWAV.
NCGR Editing.
Texture import transparency glitch fix(type 5 textures)(the grey background).

But transparency issue isn't solved for me (the same with latest build of NSBM Editor)

I can only dump clean textures of AAI Miles Edgeworth with the command line nsbmd.exe tool.

[Edit]And still unhandled exception error while importing png's textures.

I think thats because it only fixes some problems at type 5 textures.
And that error, I don't know why it is given.
