New version of my mkds course modifier (v1.81):
No nsbtx editing problems anymore (except of an error if you edit textures inside a nsbmd).
Nsbmd preview almost fully textured.

I can confirm that transparency issue is solved.
Good work.

But the app still crash on Image file import.

Yes, but that's because you have to import a bmp file if you are editing a ncgr. I have to fix that.

I was talking about the nsbtx editor. Textures are exported as png so I guess imported as png as well ?

But as I said, saddly your app crashes when importing textures ("unhandled exception")
Did you import the textures into a nsbmd that contains textures?

I exported the texture from a nsbmd file with MKDS. Then I load the new nsbtx file it just created.
I can view textures and export png but import crashes.
I have found the bug. In the next version is it fixed.
The problems with importing in nsbmd is also fixed in the next version.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
