Hey all!

I purchased a used DS lite and the top screen is flickering.

I took off the battery compartment to follow this guide :

and I saw that I am missing the screw for the top screen. Is there some sort of easy replacement here, or do I need to do a full tear down?

Well, you need to remove the back cover of course, but then you get the fun of finding and fitting a suitable replacement - that's a trimmer (a kind of variable resistor), if you can solder the replacement then you'll be able to remove and measure what's left of the original (or its working mate) but you're left with physical size/shape matters...
...you can probably find a working DS Lite motherboard for a fair price, quite often with a beaten up case/touchscreen included :P
