smealum said:Well now that people have noticed it, I might as well say it : I have the same problem, it's been there for like a month and I haven't managed to track it down yet; basically, the map is read differently on FAT16 and FAT32 cards; which changes where the limits are. So don't worry, I'm working on it, it WILL definitely be fixed, but it might take some time; a lot of tests are involved in fixing this.Ray =D said:Albert X said:Cool! Thanks!Ray =D said:
Wait for some reason 1 of the towers is cut off the edge of the map and the house too!?![]()
What? Cut off? Please make a screen...![]()
Good news though is that once the problem is fixed, maps will actually be slightly bigger than they are now (right now they're cut off, some of the data is never accessible)
I did have a look at your pool though ray, and it's really cool, it looks really great on eldpack![]()
Wait what? why can you change your custom title D=smealum said:Just a quick post to say that I had a sudden revelation while trying to sleep... so I got up, arranged my code and there we have it, now maps are a lot faster to load : big.map takes less than 10 seconds on a FAT32 setup with 2048 byte clusters ! It should be even faster on FAT16 setups. For comparision's sake, it used to take over a minute to load this map, so this is awesome.I do feel like an idiot for releasing yesterday's version now though.![]()

Don't forget the DS has limits, but I bet DSCraft already pushes it.Oveneise said:You know... I just had a thought. Couldn't you technically make DSCraft local multiplayer? I've never seen a DS homebrew with local wifi multiplayer before. Anyone know why? Because that would work great with DSCraft.

can you make it so that the no gba version can save please?
oh and can i help in any way?
Perhaps you felt pressurized by people keep on asking for the release... don't feel bad about it - IIRC other homebrew like Moonshell or DSOrganize was buggy as hell on their first release.nexus1556 said:To Anyone,Why is it no one uses n5? i have been using since release and i have only had 2 beacuse i lost the first one and the secound one works fine....Could be because of the bad reputation for bricking that it has - or that other, more stable cards came out (I have a N5 lying around somewhere that still works - can't check as I'm in work ATM)
I do feel like an idiot for releasing yesterday's version now though.Bmcs said:Just to remind everyone that, the're will be a website (made by lucasade) exclusively for sharing maps, texture packs, images and videos. ..... we hope that by the end of this week the website will be online and ready for you guys....Glad to hear that - I was gonna post asking how it's coming along... only problem is I just can't decide on what to build![]()
Well done, smealum said:Just a quick post to say that I had a sudden revelation while trying to sleep... so I got up, arranged my code and there we have it, now maps are a lot faster to load.....I didn't think it was THAT bad on loading (only the saving seemed a little too long - especially on the 168x168 flat plane map I did... guess that's because of all the stuff I had to delete to get it

WHICH version of DSCraft are you trying to use ? - there's 2 versions 'NitroFX and 'Fat'- if one don't work, try the other
WHAT flashcard are you trying to run it on ? - Some cards have problems running this
Have you got the right files in the right places ? - See the Wiki for details
EDIT: smealum has suggested the following
QUOTETo everyone experiencing white screen issues etc. at boot : try using the FAT only version (and don't forget to place the dscraft directory at the root of your card !); you can get it here : http://smealum.net/dscraft/downloads/DScraft_fat.rar
