Gaming Minecraft asking for updates | Help?!

Hello all,

My hard disk failed, so I had to get another disk and re-install my games.
Unfortunately, I have some trouble with a couple of games like Minecraft. It says before I can play, I have to update the game. But to update the game I have to update the whole system.
Does anyone here know a fix for this? With Wii U USB helper I downloaded the updates, although I think they are outdated since there are more updates required.

I've read something about NNU patch, but I haven't found a tutorial how to install this.

I'm quite noob, so sorry for all my questions.

It's safe to update to 5.5.3, nothing major was changed.

Yes, 5.5.3 is just a GDPR compliance update. Do you have CBHC installed? That might get uninstalled if you update.

It is safe to update to 5.5.3 if you're already on 5.5.2. Alternatively, you can run the NNU-Patcher homebrew application, and that will allow you to access the eShop without updating to 5.5.3.

I just use it to download the games, no further hacks, so no CBHC! I'll update it then
