Oh.
According to Wikipedia, Gyakuten Kenji is only 40% developed. I'm guessing when the producer said 'New Gyakuten NOT Saiban' would be 'released' on the 20th, he probably meant the information about what it was

...

In Gyakuten Saiban 1, the 5th case with Lana Skye, you see Edgeworth's retirement note :S probably won't go back to being a pros.

Wow... this sounds pretty cool. But it sounds almost too good to be true.
If it is true, I'm gonna be happy

but you still see him in GS2.

So yes, he is still a prosecutor... lol

And in GS3.

However, he's only a prosecutor in the 4th case. Which is set before GS1.

Dude?
Did you play 3-5?
Edgeworth defends Iris instead of Phoenix for one trial because he is in the hospital

You proved your own point.
Defense Attourney =/= Prosecutor

Nothing will change, because in every Phoenix Wright game you basically play as a prosecutor. In pretty much every case you accuse somebody of committing the crime and then proceed to prove their guilt. The prosecutors actually act as defense attorneys.

By the way, I'm a lawyer in real life and I do hope that you guys don't think this is how the legal system works in reality

God no XD
That'd be horrible.

But most trials would probably be aired on TV for good entertainment.

As of GS4, he's currently studying abroad about foreign law practices.

Also, someone on GameFAQs brought up an important point.

It was mentioned that this is going to be set around the time of the first game, before 1-4, where Edgeworth was still Jerkworth.

But that was the time when Troupe Gramarye had their "incident" with Thalassa, right?

Could Edgeworth have something to do with it as well?
