I haven't had any problems w/ the reader yet and it feels very sturdy. I know the DSTT and AK2 readers are suppose to be utter crap and I believe I read it caused some microsd problems.

Has anyone had any problems w/ their cyclods reader? Or am I just lucky =P

Um no, only the old versions are bad. The current one (Transflash) is the same one that some other flash cards provide and it's fine.

Yeah. Whatever you say!

Any included card reader = potential for problems. Just pay $10-$15 and get a good reader.

The reader that came with my R4 has been working GREAT for me for over a year now, I still use it with my CycloDS.

The reader I got with my CycloDS looks like this, but without the logo (it just says Transflash)

I've used it like, 3 times and it worked fine, but that was only for a short period of time so I can't say if they're faulty or not.
Actually, it kinda feels like the same R4 reader with an extra, bulky cover on it...

Mine came with the Branded card reader, and it didn't work at all.

Nowdays I use "the world's smallest microsd card reader" which I got for less than $2 at DX.

yeah?
the one bundled with the R4 SUCKZ
i didn't feel right when i held it for the first time
so i ended using the one bundled with my SCDS1 which was pretty good until it broke
now i'm using a Red Bridge microSD/SD card reader and it sucks too >:(

I also have the one Rupeeclock posted that came with my R4, not a single problem with it. I'll probably continue to use it when my CycloDS comes in.

I've had 4 seperate CycloDS branded readers and they've all worked fine for at least a week. I'm still using the one I got with my first Cyclo, 7+ months and counting.
