Are you just modifying a Switch MHXX saved file to play on Switch MHXX or Switch MHGenU?

Modifying your save so you can use it on MHGU, litterally unofficial save data transfer from Gen or XX to GU

we are editing MHGU saves with a modified MH save editor

i looked in the code and the guy who made this put some really impressive time into making it compatible with the game. you can only generate possible talisman with this program. try using the Dragon Talisman instead of bishop. My guess is a 3 slots & gathering +10 bishop is not possible.

I was able to recreate real talisman and it worked. reference this site (dragon worked, dunno about the other names & translation)

...I will look into disabling the apps restrictions and see if it works

I'll give that a go I saw the errors stating the talisman wouldn't work but it didn't do it all the time so figured it should let me. Thanks for the help!

Hi Guys,

I have opened up the Switch MHXX saved file with the MHXX Save editor.
I am trying to export the equipment and then import it into the Switch MHGenU saved file with the updated MHGenU Save editor.

When I tried to import equipment list from the MHGenU save editor, it mentions that to make sure your equipped weapons /armor are only from Box 1-8 or you will like get crashed ingame.
What does it mean from box 1 to 8?

And it also mentions that only equips from Box 9 to 20 will be imported.
What does it mean?

After click yes, it mentions that equipment has been imported, you may find them starting from slot 800 - 2000.
But i checked that all my equipments didn't seem to import in at all properly.

What could be the issue?

Its a save Editor for MHGen U. It can also be used to import a save from MHgen/x/xx on a 3ds to the switch.

The modified app I posted in the first post can do that. After loading the 3ds save go to convert to switch at the top

yeah its a windows program. if you have a windows computer it works.

hi, thank you for the effort. so let say mhxx was converted to mhgu file, from what means to transfer to switch mghu? as i assume the path to transfer is from mhg 3ds to mhgu switch.. the mhgu save file can be save in mhg 3ds then transfer normally over to switch mhgu?

Yup. You also need a mhgu save to overwrite (mine is in 1st post)
