yeah its worth a try. use the original editor tool to convert to 3ds, then mine to convert to mhgu.

i think until someone figures out how to remove Japanese MHXX event items and quests there may be some errors though

MHG (3DS) [Copy save file] > MHX (3DS) [Paste save] > MHXX (3DS) [Import save {blank game} and copy save] > MHGU (Switch) [Paste save file from 3DSXX using the tool from the post, copy an original save from Switch as Dummy and use a convert tool to transform it MHGU]

Notice: HR will come to 8 for G rank missions to enable it again.

Actually it's possible ( i've already seen OP weapons in both Gen and XX ), but i never knew how that kind of stuff was possible

If it's in 3ds then they are using cheat codes by gateway or ntr. You can apply any kind of dmg multiplier with those.

Or did you see actual weapon buff stats on player equipment numbers?

Yup it was on 3DS with some guys having a 16K dmg weapon (if i find the screenshot i'll edit my post)

So yes it was a weapon buff stat

Does the talisman editor work? I can't get any skill values like gathering/perception/blademaster to go above 0. It just resets back to 0 when I enter any number.

i looked in the code and the guy who made this put some really impressive time into making it compatible with the game. you can only generate possible talisman with this program. try using the Dragon Talisman instead of bishop. A 3 slot Bishop is not possible.

I was able to recreate real talisman and it worked. reference this site https://mhxxx.kiranico.com/amulet (dragon worked, dunno about the other names & translation)

...I will look into disabling the apps restrictions and see if it works
