Gaming Metroid Prime 3 question

I've been getting bored with the games I have, and thought about getting MP3.
Is it possible that I could finish it before Metroid Other M comes out?

If you are familiar with Metroid prime 1 and 2 , Within a few days probably, it's not a hard game at all. But very good and entertaining!

( I would get the Metroid prime trilogy though.... biggest bang for your buck! Awesome package!! )

I had the Japanese version of MP1, but I just didn't get into it. I heard MP3 is more shooting than MP, and I really don't feel like wasting time downloading the trilogy when I really just want Corruption..
