You do not get vouchers for completing the same tasks when you restart the same save on a new difficulty, just FYI. You still get yellow ones though. On Hypermode I am just to the point where you start getting the generators on Bryyo and haven't got a new friend voucher yet.

Holy crap hyper mode is hard. It took me over two hours to beat the Bryyo core boss (Mugenar or whatever). That's without dying, two hours of actual fighting. I'm not even taking into account the dozen times I died trying to discover an actual strategy. Still no new friend vouchers... So sorry if I owe you one or if you want to trade with me...
I might start a new game on "normal" and just get a quick 1000 kills just to get a bunch of friend vouchers to give away since I don't actually need any more!
Edit: I did just this and in about 15 minutes I had 1000 kills and 10 more friend vouchers! The longest part is just sitting through the cut scenes and dialog in the opening sequences. If anyone else wants vouchers I have 5 left from that save and could come up with more. If you add me and I haven't added you please send me a PM.
For anyone else that wants to send these easy to get vouchers, just start a new game on Normal and get to the room where you have to get the energy cell back from the pirates playing "hot potato" with it. Once you put the cell back in where it's supposed to go the room will start flooding with a never ending supply of these little bugs. Just roll into them with the morph ball. You will take a negligible amount of damage, and they sometimes yield up energy so you would have to try very hard to actually die here. About 8 minutes of rolling around and you'll have 1000 kills. Then just go forward to a save point that's very nearby. Don't delete that save until you've sent off all the vouchers.

I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer

@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one

I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version

@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!

I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though

@The Real Jdbye it hasn't given me any error trying to write things on it so I don't really think it's faulty (pasted 40/50gb+ folders and no write errors)
