Hi can someone please help me get this running.I have had no problems running other backups, however, this is my first dual layer backup I have been trying all day to get a backup disc of this game working. I have a 3.2u wii and am using Neogamma r8 final and have cios249 and re20b installed. I burned it at th slowest speed possible to a dvd+r dl and beleive i set the corect layer break(2084960). When I try to launch the dvd I get error 1167. Any help would be much appreciated.

My reccomendation will permanently allow your Wii to play any game, but it costs a bit of money.

Step 1: get out your wallet and go to amazon.com
Step 2: search for metroid other m (or your game of choice)
Step 3: process the sale
Step 4: ???
Step 5: profit

Ok I'll try that as for base cios I'm not sure I've never seen anything about a base cios during installations. How would I find out which one I have?

OK the bottom reads "Neogamma R9 beta44, cIOS56rev20 slot 249" which is strange because in earlier versions it says cios 249.

I just tried to reinstall through custom IOS Installer 2.3. For the IOS verion i choose IOS56, base IOS is IOS56 v5661, slot is 249, wad installation(dont have wifi). Everthing works until it installs custom IOS at which point I get "ERROR! (ret = -2011)"

Isn't that the no trucha bug error? If so you can apply it with multi mod manager... I use to get that error too, I just forget if its the trucha one or not

Hello guys, i'm having problems with this game too, but a weird one.

My wii is 4.1, with cIOS Rev20b (base 56), and NeoGamma R9, but when I try to launch Other M it always give me error 1053, and my wii is a older one from launch, it runs all the backup i have tried and runs dual layers disc.

Note: I'm sure is not the disc.

What do you think is the problem?

Anyway, thanks for your help and attention.
