Hi,

Currently there are two different versions of the MediCat Installer file "Medicat_Installer.bat".
The content of the files is not the same when I download the file from web page A and from web page B.
Please tell me which file is the correct/current one?

The one on the site here is a static file that grabs the version from the site. This is so I don't have to rerelease the file on here every time I push a GitHub update.

Some solution for the problem that occurs on some computers when selecting some application (e.g. partitioning) which consists of:

The loading progress bar (Loading) appears, but as soon as it enters graphic mode it is no longer seen correctly, it is as if the screen resolution does not support it and the screen appears as if it is made up of artifacts.

I have played in the bios and I have changed the different options of graphic memory allocation but without solution.

MediCat USB is now a rolling release, so will be regularly updated with major releases, and minor updates as needed (Typically monthly or bi-monthly).

MediCat USB is the most complete and multi-purpose all-in-one toolkit. It is unique. There is no AIO that includes so many important and good programs.
But in three months MediCat USB v21.12 will be two years old and therefore some programs are now outdated. Unfortunately.

So if someone wants to have a tool collection that contains fewer programs than MediCat USB, but is quite up-to-date, you can use these bootable WinPE ISO files:

creation and verification hashes of the key ok

A) test on acer nitro desktop PC
secureboot procedure ok
the medicat menu appears

choice of win mini, windows screen with icons OK
"this PC" icon shows the destop PC files, the medicat usb key is in F:
launching a portable app: error, message "program missing on Y: "
reboot

medicat menu, backup choice...
launch macrium, stuck on loading (screen with 4 squares)

B) test on an Asusvivo laptop
secureboot procedure ok,
choice of boot: the medicat usb key appears twice, partition 1 and partition 2
only the partition 2 choice leads to the medicat menu

Users need to realize that iso updates are easy to do. All they have to do is download the new ISO versions and replace those already on their USB key.
Ventoy can also be updated.
What's more, the interface is perfect and requires no modification.

Just had to use your amazing work to "unbrick"(their words not mine) a laptop they lost the login details to, many methods exist for this but nothing beats simply botting up a USB and clicking a few buttons.

Wish I could donate to upkeep the hard work you amazing human beings are doing here.

Hi alon3wolf,
the package contains the folder from Jayro's 21.12 version, with adds inside the list of the tools (iso's titles included by me inside list_of_tools.cfg and inside ventoy.json for a 128GB external ssd), but you need to have an older ventoy installed, as the references and links for the files were different at that time. Still works for me, updated iso's with actual names that were corrected in those two files. Take care, for that ventoy version the large iso's need to be copied unfragmented (piece by piece).
Unfortunately the packaged ZIP file is too large to upload here (aprox. 80 MB). Check the link available for only 7 days.
