I don't own lego indiana so this is only a these: It seems that the holes are not large enough to overlay mkw and lego indiana. If you use --test and --logging wit will print usage tables that you can confirm this.

Wait... i dont get it.... if you need a way to boot backups, whats the point? I guess if you have a modchip and have updated, but this is kinda pointless for people who are trying to get a fresh install without a modchip.

that question was already asked and answered. go back and read this thread again if you really wanted an answer.

So is there is any one here can figure out what about Layer brick offset used to burn this mixed ISO
Also is there's any source other thank WiiBrew to learn about Wii Disk structure

why doesn't removing files screw up the check sum? is the check sum just checking the listed file structure and not the actual files?
it's not clear to me how mixing works either... is it setting the 2nd partition start address to somewhere within the first partition (where the data is 0s)?

Each Wii disc has a table of hashes, which is signed so you can't change them.
Each hash is for a group of sectors, within that group they are hashed again in smaller groups.

The hash is only checked when you read that part of the disc, so if only half the files were needed and they were at the beginning of the partition you could overwrite the second half with the new partition.
As long as the game doesn't read those files it won't error. You can apply this to the second game as well, you only need to put as many files on the disc that you need to trigger the exploit.

Going further, if the first game has all it's files at the end of the partition and the second game is small enough to fit in it then you can put the second partition inside the first.

If you really want to get complicated, you can punch out the files that aren't needed in both partitions and slide them along until you find a way they don't conflict. I assume the information required has been worked out by running up in SNEEK+DI.

i actually took it even farther than that ^. in mariokart, you can use a retail disc and get all the way up to the screen with the button you press to install the channel. if you wait right here, the nly file it is reading from the disc is the BG music that is streaming. here, you can eject the disc, and insert a disc that is missing all the stuff that has already been read by the game... like th strap screen and ESRB warning and crap. when you put in the new disc, it just picks up streaming the music from the game where it left off.

For a implementation i need the following steps:[*] Extend the mix command to accept filter rules (and rule files). This should be easy.[*] Calculate a new usage map based on the filtered files. (seems to be easy with my new self written wiidisc lib)[*] Find the largest hole and look if the resulting image become smaller. (also easy)[*] Perhaps implement the new algorithm for multiple holes. This is the hardest part.
WWT v1.14a-beta is committed, steps 1-3 are implemented, but not tested very well

OK. sorry. my fault for not reading the thread, and now that i have, my understanding is that it is only useful for Non US or EU region users with modchips?

Hello guys, I just got my DL DVDs and I am quite irritated about the picture you are about to see beneath.

It seems that 8.2 is STILL not enough. (I got 8.45

)If we can drop that to 8GB, it should be burnable without any errors on a DL.

Not sure if anyone is aware of the ISO file size difference between PC and DISC.

The 8.2GB size file in PC should be calculated by 8.2 x 1024 = 8397 MB (1GB=1024MB)

However, a 8.5GB DL disc capacity is actually only 8.5 x 1000 / 1024 = 8300 MB (OMFGBBQWHUT?!)
because DISC industry normally treat 1GB = 1000 MB

That's why I said I had problem to burn the 8.2GB file by using a 8.5GB DL disc.

If anyone had tried to burn the merged file (Mario Kart+Lego Indiana) , he/she should
understand what I said.

You could possibly try to burn the merged ISO, but don't be surprised if you see an error message. If you don't see an error message, BE SURPRISED and thankful lol.
I'll burn ONE disc.... wish me luck.

I am pretty sure you will waste one of your DL discs .

If you have read all messages for the past 2 days ,you should not try to burn the 8.21GB ISO file.

Take a look at this post below:

Currently I am waiting to try the new version of wit to see if it can shrink down the merged ISO size.

This may be a possible solution to burn the merged ISO file. Then we can test/verify the new ISO file really works or not.

Before I started burning I remembered what happened to my WiiFit+Indy. It was 98% complete and it gave me an error. I put it in my Wii, and the Wii wouldn't boot the game.
It requires ALL the files to work... unfortunately. I didn't burn it thank God. I'll be waiting.

Is there a Windows version of Wiimms Iso Tool btw??

Like what you are seeing?

To replace a partition, you must:
1. Make sure you save the LEGO Data Partition
2. Load up the Mario Kart Wii ISO
3. Right-Click the Installer Partition
4. Go to Unencrypted Partition
5. Click Load
6. Find your saved LEGO Data Partition and click Ok.
7. It should start replacing

My new problem now is that I MIGHT need a Dual-Layer disk... still replacing as we speak...

Thanks alot giantpune btw

Loads of love.

I tired doing the steps above, but I get an error saying "File too big to load into partition"
How did you solve this using wiiscrubber.
