Hacking Mario vs DK 1 GBA saving disabled on supercard

I saw a topic yesterday about saving disabled in this game om an M3 cart. I have the exact same issue but with the supercard SD. When the game starts up I get an error message in red stating saving is disabled ....I really like this game but havent been able to save since I got rid of my EFA pro256 card. Any thoughts or ideas are greatly appreciated

For some reason the supercard team have never supported all save types when you patch the rom. You can get a utility that should patch the rom so it saves then you repatch it with the supercard. Can't remember the name of the patcher though, I've used it and got the supercard to save in the past.

In that same thread someone gave the name of the patcher that worked with his M3 or something.
