    hey,

i had to do a nand rewrite off my wii and lo and behold the save file for this game is locked down. so now i have to do all the tedious crap just to get ma mii as a playable character again [IMG]

but i heard there's another way involving hax. i dont wanna cheat multiplayer, i dont wanna texture hack, all i want is to have my stuff unlocked. now i have some basic computer knowledge but i am poor in coding. basically i was wondering if anybody here is willing to write a tutorial or help me out with unlocking everything in MK using homebrew channel.

thanks in advance for any help.

I just used a save from wiisave.com . You have to be careful with saves for MKW, though. as they are locked out by whatever country your Wii is set to. For example, if your Wii's country is set to Australia and you try to use a United Kingdom save, it will spit out some error at you (I can't remember what).

Your next option is to use Ocarina codes through Neogamma/Gecko OS (depending on whether or not you're backup loading). That way, you will then be able to use cheats to unlock all characters, karts and bikes (if the codes exist for them)! Here's a good Ocarina code database to start with: http://geckocodes.org

EDIT: And because I'm such an awesome guy, here's a premade Ocarina file to unlock everything on all licences for the NTSC version of MKW! Just stick the file in the SD:\codes\ folder of your SD card (don't rename it), turn on Ocarina in Neogamma/Gecko OS, boot the game and away you go! http://www.mediafire.com/?z3unjjnmwgf

To turn the code off, just go turn off Ocarina or delete the RMCE01.gct file from your SD card. And like linuxares said, everything will still be unlocked. [IMG]

Here's a PAL version of the same code, for anyone who's interested: http://www.mediafire.com/?yez2dl0nwum
