Help me out here... Is cheating really that much of an epidemic in console games?

My online gaming is almost exclusively on PC, and it's very rare that I ever encounter a cheater. And then I look at people talk about a game I play like Counter Strike and they talk as if cheating is rampant and widespread. It's a blue moon when I encounter a cheater, but just from looking at forums they make it sound like it's everywhere.

Is this how it is or do people just overly exaggerate console gaming cheating?

The game is good as it is, people are simply nit picky about 720/60; for the game, it's more than sufficient.

Likewise, the game looks fantastic at 720 @60.

The game looks MUCH better in a video review than it does in person. In person, you can see the blatant pixelation in the background. Nintendo didn't even apply any sort of smoothing algorithm, so it's basically rough, blinking sprites highly visible when you look into the distance.

That's nice. I enjoy the game irrespective of the gripes people have. Deal with it. :creep: Not all of us are graphics whores about the game. Mods can't easily modify that.

it got really bad with the last console Mario Kart.

That doesn't even make sense. If anything, Youtube (or most video sites) would make the quality much worse to save bandwidth. I've played the game and it looks better in action than it does on Youtube videos. So unless video compression artifacts are your idea of good graphics I can't see how it would look better in a review.

So ROP chain->Usermode custom code->Exploit for kernelmode custom code? Kinda like the 3DS.

so is the kernel exploit needed for customizing games like this? kinda annoying that there is not gonna be a realise on this. but hayho howd you expect other developers to make there money

Why am I not surprised that there won't be a release?

could i ask what your intentions are with making further progress? meaning would you or are you working towards anything to grant more access to the hardware of the console?

I know on 360 people say there are like a billion cheaters but it's usually for ranking and not the actual game. Some who are bad at a game will blame "hacking/glitching" for why they are losing when it's usually their ability to play the game. most glitches actually benefit the people not doing the glitch anyway.

Actually, now that the xboxone has been out for a while cheating has become super rampant on 360, because Microsoft isn't paying attention to the 360's security anymore. They're too busy keeping the One secure. lol
