Hacking Mario and luigi CRASHING after boss (NEED HELP)

This is near the final boss dont open the spoiler unless you want to be spoiled

This is on the gateway 3ds
This is ~40 hours into the game (No issues before hand)
EDIT: This is the europe rom
I have tried redownloading the rom and putting it back on

After defeating Antasma in the dream world near the end of the game
He drops a present containing an item
The animations continue but the present doesn't open
and therefore I cant do anything

If anyone can tell me a fix that would be much appreciated

If anyone can download the sav file and beat the boss that would be much appreciated (DONT GET ANY FURTHER than this boss​

If you lose on the boss
Select try again in easy mode
The boss can be defeated in 2 hits with luigi hammer

FIXED!!!!!!!!!

After trying multiple sd cards
Checksums
Versusing it about 10 times
None of these methods worked


I then tryed using a set of different items(hammers boots... Etc)
and then it didn't crash

Thanks to anyone who tryed to help much appreciated

so it is the bug for the game
not the gateway?

By the way, that's called a softlock, not a crash.

nintendo release 1.1 update on eshop for this game/bug ... but we can't update with gateway ...
