-For R4 Users (even R4 Clones)-

Just Install YSMenu on your R4 and Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story will work. Click Here to the Guide of Installing YSMenu. Credit goes to Triassic for Building the Long ass guide that took hard work. ._.

I did everything you said for making the game work on my dstt card. But when I wanted to play the game, it gave an error: ttdldi.dat Can't open loader

How can this happen and what can I do about it??? Please help

I already finished the game..
proplem is: after credits roll and watching the small scene, it freeze to white screen, it suppose to go to main menu I think, or maybe a save feature or anything.
I'm using R4, with ysmenu of course.

Also, does the firmware (R4i English V1.11b) from: www.r4i-sdhc.com compatible for the original R4?

Here is the answer for all R4 + M3Simply-User and so on, where can´t play the game right now...
The Patch from xpa is great but works not on all cards, because they forgett something to patch...

First, i have an R4-Clone with FW 3.07 from 05-12-2008 and i can´t use the TT-Menu...
but i can play M&L USA+EUR without an update, so when it works on my card then it works on all the other cards too...

Download the EUR-Fix and use the unmodified game (128MB)
- Put the game in the same folder as the fix
- Doubleclick "xpa-male.bat"
- when its Done copy the new file "xpa-male-fix.nds" on the DS and ENJOY

Download the USA-Fix and use the unmodified game (128MB)
- Put the game in the same folder as the fix
- Doubleclick "xpa-mal3.bat"

I followed these instructions carefully, but got an error immediately on startup. Most of it's in Japanese, but the english parts read:

"NDS file version of starting MoonShell2" and "Files of installed moonshl2 folder" are different.

Please confirm whether to have copied a new moonshl2 folder.
It is impossible when arranging it besides the root of SD card.

For those who have a Real R4 or One of its Clones that are Compatible with YSMenu, just install YSMenu on your R4 and the Game should work. That's what I did. It works.

^^ This is telling people how to install YSMenu. When I orginally found out I was going to say it works with TTMenu1.17a7 and YSMenu but I knew people wouldn't use the search button and would start asking how to install YSMenu.

Can I step in and say this whole work around is a little more bloated than necessary (potentially)?

I performed the only following steps to put YsMenu on my R4 and the game works excellently (for the 30 or so minutes I've played, including saving and reloading saves).

Download YSMenu - http://home.usay.jp/pc/etc/nds/ (It's YSMenu 0903211700)
Download R4ysauto - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?djfhhydhmmm

9.) Create a new directory on your desktop called "r4ysauto" without the quote marks.

10. Extract the contents of the r4ysauto package you downloaded into this directory.

11.) Copy the YSMenu package you downloaded into the "r4ysauto" directory. - Rename YSMenu0903211700 to YSMenu0903270000

12.) Run r4config.bat and answer the questions with these answers,

Language: EN
Flashcart: R4
Overwrite: Yes
Skin: No
YSMenu Language: EN
Ways To Install YSMenu: 1
Automatic Updates: Off

13.) Run r4.bat. This will produce "R4_custom_English.zip" - this now also creates a _DS_MENU.DAT.

14.) Extract the files of this archive into the root of your card.

18.) Copy and paste the Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story ROM onto the cart.

19.) Remove the MicroSD from the PC and put it in the R4.

20.) Boot up the game obviously.

I skipped all the other steps in the tutorial and my Mario & Luigi Bowsers Inside Story seems to work perfectly. Can anyone with experience tell me why this walkthrough suggests using MoonShell? Will I run into problems down the road just launching the game straight through YsMenu?

I don't see a link to a file anywhere. only thing I see a link for is the cheatcode editor.

yea, i followed the steps from that vid and everything was going smooth, but my .exe file wasnt functioning properly.....did anyone go through that problem as well, if so WTS!!!!
