I downloaded a pre-patched rom, then applied the translation using the "pre-patched patch."

Whenever I launch the game (AKAIO 1.7), it just gives me a black screen.

Then download a clean ROM and try it with that.

Download the newest loaders for akaio 1.7 if you want to play the patched rom

Clean ROM didn't work either.

And I just installed AKAIO 1.7 yesterday. I have the new loaders.

Patches for translations take a pretty long time, be patient.

Firstly thanks for help making this patch possible.
Do you have access to their current spreadsheet? If I remember correctly, the one that was exposed to the public is no longer used and
they made a private one. I would assume you're right since you helped with the patch but I have the slightest hope/faith for this translation to go on.

I think they should let the translation go public or pass it on to another team if they are getting bored with it

it's not about them thinking you don't have lives, it's about them not being given any information whatsoever as to the progress.

It sounds like they havent made that much progress recently though >_>

I'm sure when anything significant is added, they'll let us know. And people should really stop bumping the thread and complaining about it...
