This is the compatibility list that me and @mastershoes have been working on these past days.

I think it could be useful to ease things up for users, because games are already divided by cores.
These cores (A, B, C, etc) are the latest @Wiimpathy's mame cores, and those followed by a number (C2, D2 etc) are the alt versions (older revisions) also from the same thread.
The H core is here and I believe it's always Wiimpathy's work, but can't recall exactly where I got it from.:shy:

Tested roms are from the Full Non-Merged MAME_2003-Plus set.

Download MAME 2003 Plus Compatibility list

Excelent resource, been thinking about doing it for a while.

I should point out that 1942 works on my end using core H without issues, and so does UMK3 using the alt C core

EDIT: I don't know how to link a specific comment, but I got my core H from the last comment in this page

Core A:
Galaga 88, Pac-Land and Vs. Super Mario Bros. work
Ninja Baseball Batman boots, but it is slow, and is very prone to glitching

Core B:
Bubble Bobble works
Bubble Bobble 2 and Bubble Symphony are slow, but if you set frameskip to 3 (I think) it halves the framerate but it allows you to play them at full speed

Core D:
Altered Beast works (doesn't work in the alt core), Rygar works

Core E:
Gradius 3 works
Fantastic Journey doesn't work

Not a big list, but those are the games that I play that are missing from the list

I also have 1942 marked working in Core H.
it black screens for me, maybe my rom is not the right one.

Wonderful thanks! Can you write the exact rom names too? Are your roms from the same romset?

those games can't run in MAME on Wii. Download the latest oficial release of retroarch for Wii to get the FBA cores if you want to play those games

@mastershoes okay, im guessing that means that game does not work with any of the current roms right?

Not as far as anyone's tested at least. I tried them in G & G2 because of Wiimpathy's compatibility list, but who's to say it's not working in another core until someone actually tests them all.

Also, I Tried UMK3 in C2 and can confirm it is working, albiet a little slow.

Also, from where its the 3rd core C?

Also known as core I lol. I'm not sure where it came from, i got it from Tetsuo, and all i can tell you is that the .dol is labeled mame2003_midtunit_libretro. Pretty sure it's not directly affiliated with the C or Alt C cores, in which case we should just change it to Core I now?

I can confirm plenty games work not listed here yet. I will post a list shortly of what i have working not listed yet. Cabal does work in Core G:)

Not sure if i should post games that require a wheel that do boot up and start?

I havn't tried it recently & i don't have it in confirmed working folder. I'll give it a try in a short while. If it is going to work, it will be in Core D. Good Luck
