So I made the dumb move of updating my switch and now I am unable to boot SX. I have a copy of my nand from 6.0 and was wondering if I could use that to make my emunand?

I would restore my nand but cloud save data doesnt work for pokemon let's go and I'd lose my data.. I'm currently try to play stardew valley after buying it, but I pirated it before and the fake ticket is still on my system so it wont start... idk what to do :(

Two options, that I can think of.

1: Wait for your CFW to catch up to 7.0 (which could be a few weeks/months)

2: Manually downgrade

Building an Emunand as far as I know is done on the system by making a copy of the eMMC to the SD card and partitioning it via the system. I have yet to see a system that lets you build an emunand via nand backups. At least not yet.

First off, I didn't realize this before I was doing it, but you need an actual SX license to use EmuNAND right now, and I didn't so I had to revert the entire process after I had done it all.

That said, I've downgraded from 7.0.0 to 6.1 last week and installed EmuNAND and it's entirely doable.
Stay on 7.0.0 now, create a new NAND backup from that using RCM mode, then get the 6.1 firmware files and follow a guide to downgrade from 7.0.0 to 6.1.0 or 6.2.0, then once you've downgraded you install EmuNAND. If you already have EmuNAND, depending on whether it's on the SD as a hidden partition or not I believe you can do all the firmware-messing without damaging it. Worst case scenario should be that you need to make a new EmuNAND.

In case you don't wanna risk it, give it time and wait for official 7.0.0 CFW support which should come quite soon.
