Hacking Making Amiibo NTAG215s

Odd. Ubuntu Desktop x86 and Server x64work with it fine. Give me some time and I'll compile it.

I was able to get it to work. I was accidentally running it with bash.

For those on linux, this is what I did:

- fetch master.zip and extract
- Open terminal
- navigate to amiitool-master and run this: /bin/sh build.sh
- go to build directory and run this: ./amiitool

When that runs, you should get the running context that shows you the usage

what's the meaning of this? Which file must be used for this?

For the windows folks, here is a compiled version. You will need to run with command prompt, just extract and run amiitool.exe. I may work on a GUI version of this, if time permits

I might make one once I get some tags in.
With the Windows-compiled amiitool and pastebin that has the keys, this is already getting fairly simple.

EDIT: Was going to make another post, but nobody else has posted.

Aliexpress sells them, ~$35 for 100.

BTW I may make a tutorial, I just use my ubuntu laptop in the process so I originally couldn't but now I can, so I'll add one soon

Indeed it is, but I don't need 100 nor do I have $35 laying about for it. For me, ~7-10 is plenty enough to science about with.

when i use taginfo to read the tag UID i can also see in the tech tab in taginfo the memory of the tag
-> so there is also BCC0 and BCC1 displayed -> and it is the same like calculated with the tools

can we delete the steps to calculate the 9 Byte UID ?

It will act exactly like an Amiibo. You'll be able to modify written NTAGs the same way you can modify Amiibos.

In the same page as the 100 tags. Send a PM to the guy selling them, ask him for the quantity you want, he'll ask you to buy the 100 pack and don't hit Pay, he'll modify the price.

So I know nothing about how NFC works. My friend's Android phone has NFC support, and he says I can use it. If I buy these, can I use them with my friend's phone to make amiibo cards? Do I need anything else other than the cards, my computer, and the NFC phone for writing to the card? Thanks!
