@Ev0 I would try what buda81 suggested (downloading the files with a pc and then copying them to your phone) first. If that does not work however, have you tried placing the amiibo .bin files on your sd card instead of the internal storaqge of your phone? Another suggestion would be to try the older version of TagMo. You can find it in the video description of the tutorial linked in this post.

Thanks guys.
I will have to wait till I get home to test this, I'll see what I can do with my old S3 as the S6 doesn't have SD storage.
I've just attempted to download off the website but it still says "EACCES (Permission Denied)".
Has to be something along the of where I'm storing them on the phone. I shall update later.

I keep mine in cloud storage like Mega or something, then select their app to browse to the bin I wanna write.

Or I use ZArchiver to browse internal storage

Right thanks guys for all the help.
So the issue wasn't with the files in the end but the file manager app I was using.
I was using File Manager by Cheetah Mobile, which has been a fine app until now. I think remembered reading at some point in this thread, that someone used another file manager app.
Should anyone have have this issue with Access Denied the app which I now use and works is File Manager by ZenUI, ASUS Computer inc.
I've managed to write to Tag and its recognized by the Wii U.

For UK users here are the tags I bought: http://zipnfc.com/nfc-sticker-38mm-bullseye-white-pvc-front-ntag215.html

Thanks again for the quick responses, always helps talking to people.

My tags are also yourteck tags.
However I ordered 10 more from your link.
Getting a p8 lite tomorrow. I will test and report back.

Ive received the p8 lite today. With the new tags 30mm it works flawless, does not work with the 25mm tags.
Seems like I have to return them.

Use NXP tagInfo app and scan the 25mm tags to see what they are. 216's would be my guess.
