That depends. "Before Christianity" is a vague term when it comes to the area we now call the UK due to the numerous conquests its native people endured.

In a nutshell, the beliefs progressed from paganism through more organized beliefs of the Celts, including druids who were later wiped out, to worshiping Roman gods during the Roman Empire's conquest of Britain, eventually leading to the introduction of Christianity, which was later divided into its numerous derrivatives such as Roman Catholicism, Protestantism, Presbyterianism, Baptist Churches of Great Britain (Wales and England) and of Scotland and of course The Church of England, among others.

It's worth to mention that the Celts themselves were not of "British" origin - they traveled to the isles between 500 and 100 B.C in a non-organised fashion and took over.

well as i ve studied in the university this kind of things where on my subject .
well prior romans uk tribes were paganist
after romans their religion was the pantheon of romans and of course their paganist religion
after byzantium and the desolution of roman empire religion became a mixture of catholism ans paganism etc
thats all in conclusion.
