I noticed the "Download" section on m3sakura.jp has some updated text { I might be wrong but I don't remember it being there before }

Translated to -

"The M3 Sakura firmware is the next few days release schedule. (It cannot start with the hardware other than M3REAL Japanese edition or M3 Sakura. ) "

There's always a way around it.....But, lets not make wrong assumptions....Wait for few more hours, until it gets released, and than we'll talk about possible hacks/translations or whatever will be needed to get it work on english Reals..

I would really like if Densetsu3000 was here, he always does those translations nicely and understandable (without those bad google translations)

Whats the hardware difference between a Jap and a US one ?? It's dumb to have different hardware....are the NDS different over there in Japan? what justifies having different flavors of the same card

it is region locked.
m3sakura will perform the first few steps of booting, but shortly after the fat-init it will detect you don't have a jap m3 and it will freeze.
this however is an "intentional" freeze so it should be possible to remove.
