Just so some of the above posters know, it seems there is a Sakura hack for the G6, as there was a thread with a whole bunch of code inserts based on their efforts to DLDI patch Sakura's system files. That thread's been buried in the past pages though from inactivity, so I have no idea what's happening.

I've been out of the loop for the last couple weeks so I've lost track on exactly what's going wrong with Sakura - and I'm not the only one it seems...

You can use "M3 Sakura" in any language versions of M3 REAL card by using following patches.
Search and replace all of the following code on startnds.ext?and startgba.ext files.

Search with: 08 40 2D E9 00 30 A0 E3 00 30 8D E5 CD 00 A0 E3
Replace to: A4 00 A0 E3 1E FF 2F E1 00 30 8D E5 CD 00 A0 E3

Search with:08 40 2D E9 B1 00 A0 E3 00 10 A0 E3 01 00 80 E2
Replace to: A4 00 A0 E3 1E FF 2F E1 00 10 A0 E3 01 00 80 E2

The code will be matched multiple time in the former case and only once in the latter case.
This patchs can be applied to the startnds.ext file of Sp1 release, and it allows NDS games to able to be played!

Could someone upload a hacked startnds.ext as the new hulk isnt working either

i would hack it my self if i knew anything about hex editing...

How do you make your dpg movie files compatible with the fastsearch function in sakura?
For me, it still takes 20 seconds or so to jump 10 minutes forward in the movie, just like in the old moonshell application. Pretty annoying.
Do I have to convert the files in a certain way?

it somehow seems to depend on the original encoding.
i had problems with a movie, small video(but not audio) freezes and not being able to "search"(converting problem, not media player problem!)
but when i converted it to a different encoding first it fixed the freezing, as well as the search function(search worked very fast using a divx/mp3 AVI file as source)

Ok, so what kind of encoding should I use then? Did you use BatchDPG and if so, how did you set it up?

Also, should it be possible to search through a 20 fps fullscren video with 128 kbps audio without any issues?

Off topic, i just updated my vista sakura skin.

Will anyone hack it for g6? I guess the main problem lyes with getting the firmware to recongnise the internal memory instead of looking for a sd card.
