Hacking m3sakura is almost here!

I have never bothered with soft reset, and only use homebrew like tronds, morning timer, lemmings, phidias, nitrotracker, ds notes and flight from the dark. I'm pretty sure all these work (bar phidias and notes) so it's no problem for me with the homebrew compatitbilty.

By the way I'm making another skin for sakura it's a windows vista themed one. Here is a preview;

i think i found a incompatable game with sakura.

Summon Night : Twin Age

any one tried it. it does not work for me hangs on black screen.
but every other game works. this one is brand new.

It looks like Sakura won't get updated as previous firmware (and all other firmwares), but we'll be getting Service Packs..Feels even more like professional operating system..

we already found out about that, but it works with the old m3/g6 firmware. we have to wait for a new SP and someone who disables the region lock for us.
"Mugen no Frontier : Super Robot Taisen OG Saga [JAP]" also doesn't run without the first service pack.

Nothing, Service Packs are updates, but until now, when you wanted to update firmware, you had to download whole SYSTEM folder and replace the older one with the new, but now, you just have to apply Service Pack, without messing with the whole system..
It just feels more professional..it isn't actually that different..

And Are people going to hack this for g6 because lots of people including myself won't play otherwise.

edit: Ok i know what service packs are.... but have their been any released yet?

I think I am right in assuming Service Packs fix game issues and any upgrades to the system will be an update and not a service pack.

because the service packs aren't hacked they will mess up the System. iamanobody is currently trying to hack the first service pack.

Don't see the reason why wold they drop support now when they went trough all that effort making whole new interface..

When people say there homebrew comes up with two white screens it's because their isn't any text on the picture in the skin file.

If someone could translate it then add it to the skin files we could read it and figure the problem out.

Are the screens also blank with the original m3 team skins ?
Because the official "M3Sakura_Ver111_JPI" firmware which came with the makeskin.exe also just has blank pictures (RP_ConvertingMsg.bmp and RP_WarrningMsg.bmp) in the default folder.

I don't know if they blank with the new 5 Japanese released skins because i can't use sakura... (no support for g6 yet). I wish someone could hack it for it... Maybe iamnobody could do it.

Really offopic- it seams the button i made for my sig (now loading thanks to everyone at gbatemp) is in almost everyones now. I guess people want to promote the hack.

We are probably never going to see a G6 sakura dude... at least I made 26 (deleted like 5 or something) skins for the G6... I was going to get an M3 but instead got Wii Fit... getting laid is tons more fun than skinning...

and a suggestion: why not put Sakura before the name of your skin so everything will be in order in the Download Section and not everything will be mixed old firmware and new firmware? hope you agree with me..

Who will be the one to break my record??
