Hacking m3ds real. Importing game saves from emulator

Hi. I recently got an M3DS real player and I would like to import my nds game saves from my emulator (no$gba) onto the m3ds. I tried importing the file to the correct location and naming it accordingly (.0 extension) but the game won't detect it. The file was saved as FLASH 256KB. Should it be a different format?

Real doesnt use .0 anymore - if there is one, it converts it to .sav

It worked!

Although, once it was converted I had to rename it from .0 to .SAV because m3ds I guess no longer uses the .0 format
