1: existing skins can't be modified unless the creator releases the source files since the skin is compiled into a single skn file, that hasn't been reverse-engineered yet to my knowledge.
a packer with sample files can be obtained by downloading the official japanese version of m3sakura.

2:i don't recommend using DSO at all, since it's known to cause problems on m3reals.
for other homebrew, use an alternative menu to launch homebrew(such as itouch(dual/triple boot) or flashcartOS)

Thanks, i now of the m3 sakura triple loader, but the comic book, is possible cofig to work with the m3 sakura, or sonting.

and how i faind the files to create a new skin, someone publish this files.

thank you very much

okey
1. to make the skin download this file,
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RBHZ5329

and go to the skin folder and check it out (i hope you understand by looking at the files).

2. for those homebrew:
Sakura unofficial doesnt support homebrew. (only some homebrew works)
if you want to play them, i would recommend sakura triple-loader which let you boot 3 different firmware from you flashcards.

Please, could you elaborate this a bit?
I just got my M3 Real, and i need DSO everyday for work and such.

What kind of errors and what are the odds?
Why only on M3?

uhm, you need your portable gaming device for work?
dude, get a blackberry.

most versions of DSO tend to get write errors when writing text, images, etc to your flashcart.
and when that happens it might corrupt your files.

and m3sakura usually refuses to boot when you have corrupted files on your microSD.

Yeah, DSO is prone to corrupting files. If disk checking is turned off in Sakura, it will probably still boot, but you might encounter other problems.

Unfortunately Sakura doesn't work with most homebrew (I think it can't boot stuff over 2mb), so you'll have to use the iTouch firmware from the triple-booter to launch things such as DSO.

I dont like to carry a lot of stuff in my pockets, so i tend to use my DS (which is aways with me all the time) for a lot of stuff, including taking notes of info and work related things.

I see, so the issue is about Sakura not booting, thanks.
I have the auto-scan option turned off.
I thought it was some issue between DSO and M3 itself that could generate errors that wouldn't happen in other flashcard, but seems like its just the usual DSO already know problems, that Sakura's disk scan dislikes. That's a relief.

I know this is an old topic, but my M3 Real just recently stopped booting Sakura and I know it has to be due to a corrupt file, so I was wondering if there are any tips on how to figure out which file is corrupt or should I just copy everything over and reformat the card?

Thanks!
